The British Berrichon Sheep Society - New Branding

I thought that now would be a good time to update everyone on where The British Berrichon Sheep Society is going and what you can expect next.

Over the last few weeks, we've poured our hearts and souls into a rebranding of the societies logo and website, I am proud to say that we're very happy with it and are confident that you will be too.  I would like to say a big thank you to those individuals who have assisted us in providing useful feedback and helping us every step of the way to get what we required.

The new branding effort has been developed to better reflect our identity and give a more polished presence to our members, new members, and indeed other agricultural societies,

We engaged with Ben Quirk of 'Here For Design' www.herefordesign.co.uk who is an experienced graphic & web designer to help us through this process. We did our research and we're all very excited to be working with him. Ben's next task is to compile our society yearbook, Ben has taken a look at our previous efforts and wants to bring the 2017 year book in line with the new brand, we are looking forward to seeing the results.

To kick things off, we spruced up the current website, we hope that you like the way it has been simplified to show in a clear and concise way our society information. We have kept the majority of the sections but have reordered it in a more logical way. Along with the new website we now are 'blogging' - well we are blogging as a way of feeding our news page. Bloggs will be fed into the news page and are interactive so you can pass comment on news articles that will be shared with other society members.

We have already designed a new logo for The British Berrichon Sheep Society. You can say goodbye to the black and white drawn sheep logo that was created many years ago. It worked for a long time and we're sad to see it go ... but we're even more excited to bring in the new. Change is good and we believe, necessary.
The new logo represents change, growth, and a modernisation of our society. The iconic Berrichon sheep are there in all their glory, we felt that the new logo demonstrates a boldness and makes a strong representation of our society. Ben used a simple and elegant green and cream oval design to surround the striking representations of the Berrichon Ram and Ewe. We hope that the logo will remain bold for a long time and be instantly recognisable.

Let us know what you think ... we're pretty happy with it and hope you are too.

Of course, and as always, if you have any questions, comments, or just want to chat, let us know ... we'll keep you updated as we roll out more opportunities with the new website.

Thank you.
